    In a stellar amateur career, he won the 2009 Scottish Boys' Under-16 Championship, the 2010 Scottish Boys Championship and the 2012 Scottish Amateur Championship.

    In 2013, he qualified for The Open Championship at Muirfield, where he played with former winner Mark O'Meara in the opening two rounds, and later helped Europe win the Palmer Cup, the college equivalent of The Ryder Cup.

    Played for Great Britain and Ireland at the Walker Cup in 2015, helping the side to a 16.5 - 9.5 victory - their largest points total in history.

    Went to college at the University of San Diego, winning four times during his collegiate career before turning professional in 2016.

    Joined the European Challenge Tour in 2016 and earned a debut season on the DP World Tour for 2018 after finishing eighth on the season-long rankings.

    Became the first Scotsman to win on home soil in nearly a decade at the 2021 Hero Open at Fairmont St Andrews, his first European Tour victory.

    Claimed his second title in his seventh consecutive season on the DP World Tour, again on home soil, as he won the Nexo Championship at Trump International.
