Excelled as an amateur – a victory at the 2016 Australian Amateur Championship helped propel him up to eighth in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Joined the paid ranks in 2017 after representing Great Britain & Ireland in the Walker Cup, and caught the eye during his first professional start at the Portugal Masters on the DP World Tour when he finished tied 12th after carding four successive under-par rounds.

Played his first full DP World Tour season in 2018 after finishing inside the top 25 at Qualifying School Final Stage, but was unable to retain playing rights despite a runner-up finish at the Shot Clock Masters.

Played on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2019 and won the season-opening Turkish Airlines Challenge as he defeated Francesco Laporta with a birdie on the first play-off hole. Secured a return to the DP World Tour after finishing 14^th on the Road to Mallorca Rankings.

Finished a career-high 28^th on the Race to Dubai Rankings after back-to-back runner-up results at the Cazoo Open and ISPS HANDA World Invitational.

Won his first DP World Tour title on his 182^nd start at the 2025 KLM Open. He took a two-stroke lead into the final round and won by that margin at The International from Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren.
