Earlier that summer, he earned the final spot in The Open via a first-ever “Last Chance Qualifier” at Royal Birkdale.

Made headlines when the then World Number 2,930, working part-time as a supermarket delivery driver, finished runner-up at the Magical Kenya Open presented by absa in 2024.

Qualified for The Open later that year with a second runner-up finish at the KLM Open.

A year earlier, he came through all three stages of Qualifying School to earn himself a rookie season on the DP World Tour.
