Berry hits the summit following four fine days at the German Challenge powered by VcG, where he ended the week in a tie for second on 16 under par behind runaway winner JC Ritchie.

The Englishman’s performance at Wittelsbacher Golfclub continued a red-hot run of form that includes two further top ten finishes, coming in Czechia at the D+D REAL Czech Challenge and Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge.

Berry, who is in a strong position to earn promotion to the DP World Tour, sits on 873 points, 14.4 points ahead of South African Ritchie, who climbs four places following his victory in Germany. Ritchie, now a five-time winner on the HotelPlanner Tour, has moved ahead of Austrian Max Steinlechner and Italian Renato Paratore, who occupy third and fourth respectively.

Scotsman David Law, who tasted victory at the D+D REAL Czech Challenge has dropped to fifth, one place ahead of South African Daniel van Tonder, who kicked off the season with back-to-back wins at the MyGolfLife Open and SDC Open.

Italian Filippo Celli climbs six spots to seventh following a top five finish in Germany while Frenchman Félix Mory remains in eighth. Denmark’s Victor Sidal Svendsen and Englishman Jamie Rutherford complete the top ten.
