Repetto Taylor looks to build momentum in Brno

Rocco Repetto Taylor returns to the tee at this week’s Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge in Brno, Czech Republic, fresh from sealing a maiden HotelPlanner Tour title two weeks ago.

The Spaniard’s one-stroke win in the Challenge de Cadiz at Iberostar Real Golf Novo Sancti Petri moved himself up to 13th on the 2025 Road to Mallorca Rankings, in what was only his second HotelPlanner Tour start of the year.

The 22-year-old, who was previously playing on the Alps Tour, is excited to consistently tee it up on the HotelPlanner Tour after earning a year-long exemption via the winner’s category.

“The win has completely changed my season,” he said.

“Obviously, I was playing on the Alps Tour but by getting in the winner’s category I am now able to play on the HotelPlanner Tour, and I am excited to start doing it.

“It was an amazing week in Cadiz. I took some time off to enjoy it with my family and girlfriend and to figure out how we were going to do all of this and get ready to start competing again.”

Ahead of this week’s event at Golf Resort Kaskáda, Repetto Taylor is eyeing another positive finish in his third Tour outing of the season.

“This week I am just trying to have fun, enjoy it and play the best golf I can and see if during the weekend I am in the hunt,” he added.

“The game is feeling good. The week off allowed me to see my coach a little bit and prepare for the golf courses that are coming up. I am feeling confident.”

The Spaniard will also have his girlfriend caddying for him in Brno after the pair were reunited for the first time in five months in Cadiz.

“My girlfriend is going to be on the bag for the next couple of weeks, it’s nice she’s able to enjoy this with me,” he said.

“I hadn’t seen her in a long time, so it was great for her to come out and for her first tournament be the win. I am just excited to see what’s to come.”

Repetto Taylor is part of a strong field at Golf Resort Kaskáda, which includes Swiss Challenge winner Félix Mory, two-time HotelPlanner Tour winner this season, Renato Paratore, and Road to Mallorca Number Three Joshua Berry.
