GAC Rosa Challenge Tour: Three to Watch

The GAC Rosa Challenge Tour returns to Rosa Golf Club in Poland this week for a second time in successive years. Here are three players to keep your eye on…

Form horse – David Law

David Law

David Law arrives in Poland looking to consolidate his position as the Road to Mallorca Number One. Law took a week off last week but returns to the tee having registered two wins and two other top ten finishes in his last six starts. The Scotsman’s win in the D+D REAL Czech Challenge was his first since 2019 before he swiftly followed it up with a second in the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge a month later. Law is all-but guaranteed a return to the DP World Tour at the season’s conclusion but could secure automatic promotion this week should he win for a third time.

Local boy - Mateusz Gradecki

Mateusz Gradecki (4)

Mateusz Gradecki will be buoyed by home support this week, as he targets a return to form following a testing 12 months. The 31-year-old will make just his eighth start of the season this week, and despite narrowly missing the cut at Rosa Golf Club last year, could change the course of his season with a positive result on home soil. Gradecki is no stranger to success on the HotelPlanner Tour having won the Limpopo Championship back in 2022 on his way to finishing 21st in the season-long Rankings.

The outsider – Haraldur Magnus

Haraldur Magnus

Haraldur Magnus came within an inch of firing a sensational 59 on the final day of the Dormy Open last week, with his birdie putt on 18 coming agonisingly close to dropping. The 34-year-old had to instead settle for a faultless 11 under par 60 which saw him climb into second place and his first top ten finish of the campaign. That result saw the Icelandic climb to 54th in the Road to Mallorca Rankings from 155th, and he now stands a great chance of playing in China next month, with the leading 68 players set to tee it up. He will be hoping to back up last week’s blistering finish with a strong outing in Poland.
