Palmer Jackson arrives in Pléneuf full of confidence having cruised to a maiden HotelPlanner Tour victory at the Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge last week. The American fired an exceptional seven under par round of 64 to reach 21 under par for the week and win by six-shots in the Czech Republic. The 24-year-old has catapulted to 15th position on the Road to Mallorca Rankings and will be hoping for another strong performance in Brittany this week to strengthen his chances of promotion to the DP World Tour.

Local boy: Clement Charmasson

Clement Charmasson returns to home soil as a HotelPlanner Tour winner having triumphed at the Challenge de España earlier this year. The Frenchman carded rounds of 65-67-66-69 to reach 17 under par for the week and win by one-shot at Fontanals Golf Club and he currently sits in 11th position on the Road to Mallorca Rankings. The 26-year-old is hoping to use home advantage this week and claim a second victory of the season.

The outsider: Alfie Plant

Alfie Plant will be hoping to lean on fond memories at Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André this week. The Englishman recorded a one-shot victory to secure his second HotelPlanner Tour title at this event in 2022 and the former champion returns in good form after a tied 11th finish at last week’s Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge. The 32-year-old has struggled for consistency so far this season but will be hoping a return to France can produce the catalyst for a hot run of form on the Road to Mallorca.
