Alex Noren had an identical set-up to his last victory as he enjoyed a return to the winner's circle for the second time in three weeks at the BMW PGA Championship.
Having waited seven years between wins when he claimed the British Masters title in August, Noren made sure his next wait was far shorter as he sealed a play-off victory over Adrien Saddier to claim his second BMW PGA Championship title.
The Swede only returned to competitive golf in May after recovering from a significant hamstring injury that left him sidelined for seven months, and was making just his fifth start on the DP World Tour since last year’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Since then, he has switched into the new Callaway Opus SP wedges at the Genesis Scottish Open, while he added a new Callaway Prototype fairway wood ahead of the British Masters. He kept the same combination of clubs for his win at Wentworth Club.
