The Genesis Scottish Open - co-sanctioned with the PGA TOUR - marks the climax of the Open Qualifying Series, offering one final chance for players to earn their spot in the field at The 153rd Open.
The leading three players, not already exempt, at the Renaissance Club will qualify for the final men's Major Championship of the season at Royal Portrush next week.
After 14 events in 11 countries, the Open Qualifying Series has so far seen 44 players book their spots to compete for the Claret Jug.
Home favourite Robert MacIntyre won last year’s Genesis Scottish Open to land his first Rolex Series title, with Aaron Rai, Alex Noren and Richard Mansell leaving it late to qualify for Royal Troon 12 months ago.
Xander Schauffele - a former winner of the Genesis Scottish Open - is set to defend his Open Championship title later this month over the Dunluce Links in County Antrim, having won his second Major at Royal Troon last year.
