Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship tee times: Race to Dubai leaders head out together

Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World leader Eugenio Chacarra will have his closest rivals for company when the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship gets under way on Thursday.

For the first time, the opening event of the DP World Tour Play-Offs will see the groups go out in reverse Rankings order, meaning Chacarra, Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy will head out together in the final group of the day.

American Reed was the long-time Rankings leader after his Rolex Series victory in Dubai and win in Qatar but was recently overtaken as Chacarra claimed a third triumph of the season at the DP World India Championship.

Masters champion McIlroy then sits third in the Rankings as he seeks a record-equalling eighth Harry Vardon Trophy and fifth in a row.

The leadiung trio will get their week started at 11.50am, with all groups going off the first.

Casey Jarvis is the fourth player who could end the week on top should results go his way and the two-time winner in 2026 heads out 11 minutes earlier alongside defending Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship winner Aaron Rai and Kiwi Daniel Hillier.

Chacarra, Reed, Jarvis and Hillier are all on track to earn dual membership with the PGA Tour next season, with Jayden Schaper, Jacob Skov Olesen and Andy Sullivan and the trio of Bernd Wiesberger, Oliver Lindell and Joe Dean sitting in the remaining qualification spots.

Those two groups tee off at 11.28 and 11.17 respectively.

Sam Bairstow will hit the openning tee shot at 07.19.
