DP World Tour First Stage Qualifying School took place at Frederikshavn Golfklub in Denmark this week, with 15 players making sure of progression to Second Stage.
Denmark’s Martin Simonsen and Dutchman Wouter de Vries shared the 72-hole lead, with both players ending the week on nine under par, one-shot ahead of Scotland’s Sam Locke.
Simonsen, who won on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2022, recorded a five under par 67 on day three to jump into the lead, with De Vries carding a four under 68 on the final day to join him at the top.
Scores of one under par or better secured progression, with the 15 players now having direct access to the Second Stage and playing opportunities on the DP World Tour alongside full playing status on the HotelPlanner Tour for the 2026 season.
