With this win: Junghwan Lee - Genesis Championship

Junghwan Lee became the newest DP World Tour member as he won on home soil at the Genesis Championship.

His first DP World Tour victory on his sixth start

His third professional victory, following the 2017 Caido Golden V1 Open and 2018 Golfzon-DYB Education KPGA Tour Championship (both on the KPGA TOUR)

He was runner-up at this tournament in 2018 (when it was solely sanctioned by the KPGA TOUR)

It is the second consecutive year the Genesis Championship has been on by a player from Korea, following on from Byeong Hun An’s victory last season

Having taken up DP World Tour membership following his victory, he enters the Race to Dubai Rankings at 63rd and is eligible for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first event of the DP World Tour Play-Offs

Rises to a career-high 197th on the Official World Ranking, from 451st

It is the first win by a player from Korea since Byeong Hun An at last year’s Genesis Championship

The last time there were consecutive seasons with Korean winners on the DP World Tour was 2016 and 2017 (Soomin Lee and Jeunghun Wang (twice) in 2016 and Wang again in 2017)

It is the 14th win by a player from Korea on the DP World Tour
