A look in the bag of Tommy Fleetwood, who used a full set of TaylorMade clubs to win the inaugural DP World India Championship.
With the course at Delhi Golf Club one of the tightest and shortest on the DP World Tour this season, the Englishman, like many others in the field, opted to take out his TaylorMade Qi35 driver and 18-degree utility iron from his set-up.
Instead, he added a Qi10 nine wood to go alongside his R7 Quad Mini Driver and Qi35 five wood at the top end of his bag.
Speaking pre-tournament, he said: “I can't imagine many people doing it, but you can be as aggressive as you want, really, in terms of the clubs you're hitting off the tee.
“But overall, you have to put the ball in play. Hitting off the fairway makes a huge difference, and you have to control your iron play.
“You have to be patient, and you have to be strategic. I really like that about golf courses when we get to play those.”
Typically, Fleetwood prefers a set up which features the use of three wedges for most events, but he did switch to carrying four with the addition of a 56-degree Milled Grind 5.
Now a winner on both the PGA TOUR and the DP World Tour this year, the Ryder Cup star has stuck to a similar set-up with his equipment for 2025.
Depending on course conditions he may make a few adjustments, choosing between the nine wood or four iron, while he will use his 18-degree utility iron in windy/firm conditions.
