A week after making some changes in his club set-up, Michael Kim entered the winner's circle on the DP World Tour at the FedEx Open de France.
After a strong campaign stateside on the PGA TOUR, narrowly missing out on the Tour Championship, American Kim made the trip over to Europe to compete at the BMW PGA Championship and FedEx Open de France over back-to-back weeks.
Ahead of his debut in the third Rolex Series event of the DP World Tour season at Wentworth Club, Kim replaced the Titleist T200 for the newly released T250 four iron, while he switched from the L.A.B Golf DF3 to a TaylorMade Spider 5K-ZT putter - a fellow zero-torque design.
While he missed the cut on his BMW PGA Championship debut, he stuck with a set-up of driver, two fairway woods, four to nine iron, 46, 52, 56 and 60-degree wedges and putter.
In France, he ranked well across a number of performance categories, finishing in the top ten for SG: Tee to Green, Greens in Regulation, scrambling and SG: Putting.
At the top of his bag, he used an 11-degree GT2 driver, having made the move from the TSR3, following Titleist's release of the line last year.
While a Titleist ambassador, he carries a TaylorMade Qi10 three wood and seven wood.
In addition to the new T250 four iron, he uses the T100 irons and 46-degree wedge, while he also has three Vokey Design SM10 wedges.
With his TaylorMade Spider 5K-ZT putter, birdies on two of his final three holes saw him close out a bogey-free six-under 65 and claim a one-shot victory.
