Ten players will tee it up on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2026 after earning promotion from the Alps Tour and Pro Golf Tour.
The Alps Tour - one of five Official Satellite Tours of the HotelPlanner Tour – offers a pathway for the top five players on the Order of Merit to secure playing privileges on the Road to Mallorca following the conclusion of the 18-event season.
This year, Spaniard Javier Barcos will lead the Alps Tour graduates onto the HotelPlanner Tour after topping the season-long Order of Merit following two victories, coming at the New Giza Open in Egypt and Longwy Alps Open, where he finished one-stroke clear of his compatriot Manuel Morugan at UGolf Longwy International Golf Club. Italian Jacopo Vecchi Fossa will take up full HotelPlanner Tour playing rights for the first time in two years after finishing second on the Order of Merit. The 31-year-old, who made his first HotelPlanner Tour start back in 2013 at the Montecchia Golf Open presented by POLAROID, has tasted victory twice this year, most recently in the penultimate event of the season at the Parma Alps Open.
Spaniard Asier Aguirre Izcue secured the third sought-after HotelPlanner Tour card after he ran out victorious at the 2025 Regione Lazio Alps Tour Grand Final, where he beat Barcos in a play-off after the pair couldn’t be separated on 13 under par. Irishman Ronan Mullarney ended the year in fifth position after a string of consistent performances and returns to the HotelPlanner Tour after he finished 173rd on the 2024 Road to Mallorca. Dutchman Jerry Ji, who ended the year sixth on the Order of Merit, takes the final HotelPlanner Tour card after Frenchman Quentin Debove, who occupied fourth position, earned DP World Tour category 18 status after coming through Final Stage Qualifying School at INFINITUM.
The five Alps Tour graduates will also be joined by five from the Pro Golf Tour, another of the HotelPlanner Tour’s Official Satellite Tours. Dutchman Lars van der Vight topped the Order of Merit following a season which included two victories, two runner up finishes and four further top fives. Van der Vight relied on invites for his four starts on the 2025 Road to Mallorca, with his standout performance coming at the Italian Challenge Open where he ended the week in a tie for fourth. Frenchman Clement Guichard will take up category 12b membership after ending the year second behind Van de Vight. Guichard last held HotelPlanner Tour playing privileges in 2024 and returns with two victories to is name this year, coming at the Ain Bay Red Sea Open and Staan Open. Below Guichard sits German trio Christian Bräunig, Michael Hirmer and Linus Lang. Bräunig sealed his return to the HotelPlanner Tour in the last event of the season at the Castanea Resort Championship after securing a three-stroke victory over France’s Claude Churchward.
Hirmer, who held category 14 membership last season on the HotelPlanner Tour, has improved his status after finishing fourth on the Order of Merit following two victories, coming at the Golf Mad Open and Bonmont Pro Golf Tour. Lang takes the final available card after winning the penultimate event of the season at the Iron Duke Belgian Open. The 23-year-old will now take up full membership having previously relied on invitations for his five previous starts on the Road to Mallorca.
The five graduates from the Pro Golf Tour will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Frenchman Clement Charmasson, who sealed a breakthrough victory at the 2025 Challenge de España before going on to earn promotion to the DP World Tour in his rookie season.
