This week's FedEx Open de France venue Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche contains a golfing rarity that could provide a dramatic finish come Sunday.
Continental Europe's oldest national open has got used to a spectacular climax in recent years, with Le Golf National's 18th over water being one of the most famous finishes in the game.
But with work taking place at the 2018 Ryder Cup venue, this week the field will face something very different - a par three.
We asked some of the players ahead of the event what they thought of the test and took a look at the numbers from round one.
Adrien Saddier
It's really tough. It's really tough. We were talking about a three to make the cut or a three to win and it won't be easy for sure. You need to have a couple of birdies before to make this one. It's a tough hole, a tough finishing hole and I'm sure we'll get some drama on it.
Ryan Fox
It was a cool finishing hole. Feels like you could chip a four iron down there and run it down the hill. But if they tuck that pin back right, which I'm sure it will be Sunday, and you're coming down the stretch with a lead, it's going to be... there could be some fireworks there. It's a pretty hard hole to make a two on and certainly can make a five pretty quickly. It's going to be exciting for everyone watching and it's a little bit different for us. I can't think of too many golf courses that finish on a par three so that's pretty cool.
Dan Bradbury
It's a good one. We were just saying, I heard a story about someone laid up on it, they had a two-shot lead, and I can see why. That left bunker is not ideal. It's not a wide green at all. From the top of the hill with that crosswind, it will be a good finish.
Connor Syme
It's a beautiful finishing hole. It will be very unusual to be finishing with a par three but it's an exciting finish to a tournament. There's a nice bit of water down the right hand side and it should make for a good finish on Sunday.
