Simon Zach claimed the NEXT Golf Tour Order of Merit title to earn playing opportunities on both the DP World Tour and HotelPlanner Tour this season.
Launched in 2022, the NEXT Golf Tour is played worldwide exclusively on Trackman simulators and saw its fourth season come to a climax on Thursday.
Zach, 29, finished solo second at the Tour Championship – contested virtually on the Earth course at Dubai’s Jumeirah Golf Estates - for the third consecutive event, just one shot behind American AJ Cavotta who won $40,000.
While Cavotta won the campaign-ending event, Zach’s cumulative season results ensured the Czech topped the Order of Merit and reaped the rewards of sustained consistency.
“Winning $70,000 throughout the season means everything," said soon-to-be father Zach.
"It means that I can continue to pursue my dream, and with a baby coming in May, it takes some of the pressure off.
"I am so excited about winning the starts on the DP World Tour and the HotelPlanner Tour."
His Order of Merit victory secures:
• One start on the DP World Tour
• Six starts on the HotelPlanner Tour
The NEXT Golf Tour continues to prove itself as a pathway to high-level professional golf, giving players like Zach the experience, exposure, and opportunities needed to progress to the top tiers of the sport.
