Saptak Talwar said it was "very special" to earn his spot on the DP World Tour for next season after topping the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India Order of Merit.
As the leading player on the standings following the conclusion of the DP World India Championship, the 27-year-old has secured a DP World Tour card in Category 17 for the 2027 season.
Talwar led the Order of Merit for much of the campaign and no-one was able to overtake him at Delhi Golf Club.
Speaking on The Locker Room Delivered by DP World, Talwar said: "It's been a lot of golf the last, maybe, six months, and this has been a late addition to my agenda.
"From May onwards I think I started thinking about this but now that it's starting to sink in, it's very special to be able to get a DP World Tour card from our domestic tour out here.
"I don't think without DP World the game would be at the position that we're at right now.
"It doesn't happen without their support and I look forward to having a good year out there.
"I'm going to take a few days to relax and then start planning."
