Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland and Sungjae Im are the latest stars to join the world-class Genesis Scottish Open field, with tickets for the Rolex Series event on sale now at ETG.GOLF/GSOGA.

The trio will be part of a stellar line up at the Renaissance Club from July 10-13, with eight of the top ten in the Official World Golf Ranking – including World Number One Scottie Scheffler and 2023 and 2022 Genesis Scottish Open winners Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele – now confirmed to star alongside home favourite and defending champion Robert MacIntyre.

World Number Nine Hovland joined Fleetwood as part of the victorious European Ryder Cup team in Italy in 2023, teaming up with Ludvig Åberg for a record 9&7 defeat of Scheffler and five-time Major winner Brooks Koepka.

The Norwegian star, who claimed his seventh PGA TOUR win at the Valspar Championship in March, and finished third at last week’s U.S. Open behind J.J. Spaun and MacIntyre, will be vying for a third DP World Tour victory and first on the Rolex Series.

He said: “The Genesis Scottish Open is a fun week, with the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR guys coming together. I’ve played the tournament a few times now and I always enjoy getting back to Scotland.”

Three-time European Ryder Cup star Fleetwood will tee it up in Scotland’s national open for the 11th time when he returns to East Lothian next month. The seven-time DP World Tour winner and former European Number One, who has four top tens on the PGA TOUR this season, will be seeking to go one better than his second-place Genesis Scottish Open finish in 2020.

Fleetwood said: “I always enjoy playing in the Genesis Scottish Open, and it makes for a great couple of weeks, coming just before The Open. I’ve come close a couple of times over the last few years and I would love to lift the trophy at Renaissance Club.”

Korean number one Im is returning for a fourth consecutive appearance at the Genesis Scottish Open, following a tied fourth finish last season. The two-time PGA TOUR winner, who has represented the International Team three times in the Presidents Cup, has three top fives on the PGA TOUR so far this season, including at the Masters Tournament in April.

He said: “I’m happy to be able to include the Genesis Scottish Open on my schedule again this season, and I look forward to another exciting week with many of the best players in the world coming together at the Renaissance Club.”

The Genesis Scottish Open field includes all of the top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking – Scheffler, McIlroy, Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas – and eight of the top ten, with Sepp Straka, Hovland and Åberg also competing.

The Genesis Scottish Open is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR, counting on both the Race to Dubai Rankings and the FedExCup, and boasts Genesis, the luxury automotive brand from South Korea, as title sponsor. Genesis title-sponsor two tournaments on the PGA TOUR’s 2025 schedule, with the Genesis Scottish Open following The Genesis Invitational in February, won by European Ryder Cup star Åberg.

The event benefits from the continued commitment of the Scottish Government and VisitScotland, and retains its place in golf’s global calendar the week ahead of The Open as part of these agreements through to 2025.

The fan experience at the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open includes the Fringe by the Tee pop-up stage, in conjunction with the Fringe by the Sea festival, featuring a Saturday headline slot from KT Tunstall, the Grammy-nominated, Brit Award-winning artist.
