Form Horse: Hamish Brown
This week’s form horse is Denmark’s Hamish Brown. The 27-year-old has enjoyed a positive return to the HotelPlanner Tour as he looks to gain instant promotion back to the DP World Tour. Brown is a former winner of the Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge, so knows what it takes to win at Golf Resort Kaskada, as he looks for a second win in Brno. With three second-placed finishes to his name this season, the Dane currently sits in third place on the season-long Road to Mallorca Rankings.
Local Boy: Filip Mruzek
The highest ranked Czech golfer in the world, Filip Mruzek, tees it up in his home nation this week. Mruzek won the Interwetten Open in neighbouring country Austria last month and will be looking for his second win as he bids for promotion to the DP World Tour. The Czech currently sits in 14th place on the Road to Mallorca Rankings and a positive week could all but guarantee promotion to the DP World Tour. Mruzek finished last year’s edition of the Raiffeisenbank Golf Challenge in solo fourth carding three rounds of 68 before closing with a final round 66.
Outsider: Sam Jones
Inspired by Ryan Fox’s win at The 154th Open at Royal Birkdale last week, fellow New Zealander Jones will be looking for a win this week as he hopes to improve on his mixed start to the 2026 Road to Mallorca season. Jones has made the cut in half of his 12 starts on the Road to Mallorca this term and will be looking to bounce back from a missed cut at the German Challenge last time out.
