Michael Kim is Locked In for the Play-Offs after claiming a maiden DP World Tour victory at the FedEx Open de France.
Victory at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche saw the American affiliate member eligible to take up full membership of the DP World Tour and he jumped 125 places on the Race to Dubai Rankings to 35th.
The top 70 on the Rankings - where Kim is now guaranteed to finish - at the end of the Back 9 will qualify for the first event of the Play-Offs at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
The top 50 following the week at Yas Links will then head to the season finale at the DP World Tour Championship.
Kim was in the field in Paris via his performances on the PGA TOUR this season, with ten spots available to players within the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings on conclusion of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
And now as a full DP World Tour member with full playing privileges, he can head to the Middle East in November as he bids to become a truly international player.
"I always wanted to be a player that plays on the international stage, not just on the PGA TOUR, and I feel like this is a fantastic start to that career," he said following his win.
"I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to come out here. I'm super grateful and happy that I did decide to come here.
"I've always wanted to go to Abu Dhabi, the Middle East. I've never been. Paris and London, I've been.
"So I don't know if I'm 100 per cent playing that one but really glad that I at least have the opportunity to go."
One spot below Kim in the Rankings is Marcus Armitage, who is also Locked In for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship after a strong week in France.
The man affectionately known as the Bullet secured a top five in Paris for his third top ten of the season and will now be hoping to play his way into a third appearance at the DP World Tour Championship and first since 2021.
