Keita Nakajima ranks India among his favourite places after another fine week in New Delhi

Keita Nakajima declared India one of his favourite places after impressing there once again with a second-place finish at the 2025 DP World India Championship.

Since claiming his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2024 Hero Indian Open at DLF Golf and Country Club last March, Japanese star Nakajima finished second at the 2025 edition before coming second again at Delhi Golf Club this week.

Nakajima held a two-shot lead after 54 holes but finished the tournament two strokes behind champion Tommy Fleetwood after Sunday's spotless 69.

The 25-year-old was pleased with his week's work and is hoping he can taste victory again when he returns to India next year.

He said: "Good to come back to India.

"India is definitely one of my favourite countries. Maybe win next year again."

With a world-class field gathered in New Delhi for the inaugural DP World India Championship, Nakajima had some illustrious playing partners during the week.

He said: "It was a great week.

"I was bogey-free on the weekend and played with Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood. That's a special moment for me, and I'm so honoured to play with a top-ranking field."
