Global Amateur Pathway Rankings to conclude this week

The World Amateur Team Championships in Singapore have brought the curtain down on the Global Amateur Pathway Rankings for 2026 with a host of the globe's best amateurs now waiting to discover their fate.

Cameron Adam
Cameron Adam finished in a tie for 19th at the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo in August

Led by Christiaan Maas who took individual male honours, South Africa won the Eisenhower Trophy, but further down the leaderboard there could be implications for GAP Rankings hopefuls, with the final Rankings set to be released on Wednesday.

Scot Cameron Adam leads the way and he is guaranteed playing privileges within the European Tour group next season after finishing in a tie for 58th, with Scotland finishing seventh in the team contest, but his World Amateur Golf Ranking will decide his fate.

Should the World Number 18 retain his spot in the top 20, he will secure a DP World Tour card but should he drop out of those spots, he will be playing on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2026.

English duo Dominic Clemons and Charlie Forster are then virtually guaranteed their place on the HotelPlanner Tour in second and third in the GAP Rankings and if Adam stays in the top 20 in the world, there will be another HotelPlannner Tour card up for grabs.

That would go to either Denmark's Kristian Hjart Bressum or German Wolfgang Lawe, who finished in ties for 51st and 77th respectively in Singapore on Sunday.

Last season's GAP Rankings leader Wenyi Ding has enjoyed a standout season in his rookie DP World Tour campaign, comfortably keeping his card and well in the mix to secure a place at the DP World Tour Play-Offs.

HotelPlanner Tour exemptions for 2025 - available to European and Middle Eastern players - went to England’s Will Hopkins, Scot Gregor Graham and Luis Masaveu of Spain.

The Global Amateur Pathway - an initiative created by the DP World Tour, The R&A and the PGA TOUR - has opened a pathway for non-collegiate amateur players on to the DP World Tour and partner Tours around the world.

The Global Amateur Pathway complements PGA TOUR University – which awards membership on PGA TOUR-sanctioned Tours to the top Division-I college golfers at the end of the NCAA Championship – to ensure opportunities are available for elite players across the amateur ranks.
