Brandt Snedeker set for Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo

The nine-time PGA TOUR winner, who was last year named Vice Captain for the U.S. Team in the 2025 Ryder Cup, will make his first non-Major appearance on the British Isles at the iconic Brabazon Course, joining European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald as the Betfred British Masters kicks off the DP World Tour’s Back 9.

Snedeker, a Ryder Cup winner in 2016, has nine top ten finishes in Major Championships which includes a tie for third at The Open in 2012, the same year he claimed the FedExCup title on the PGA TOUR.

After making his DP World Tour debut at last year’s D+D REAL Czech Masters, Snedeker will hope to use his wealth of experience and competitive edge to The Belfry later this year.

“I’ve heard so much about the history of The Belfry and the British Masters, and I’m excited to finally experience it for myself,” said Snedeker.

“It’s always a thrill to play in front of passionate crowds, and I know the UK fans love their golf. With Sir Nick hosting, it’s shaping up to be a great week, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.

“I have played in the States for the majority of my career but I loved my trip to the Czech Republic last year, so I’m excited to return to the DP World Tour for the Betfred British Masters and take in another new experience.”

The Betfred British Masters has a rich legacy as one of the DP World Tour’s most historic events, with a roll of honour that includes some of the game’s greatest names. This year’s tournament, hosted by six-time Major Champion Sir Nick Faldo, will be the final counting event for European Ryder Cup Qualification, as the race to make captain Luke Donald’s team reaches its conclusion.

This year’s Betfred British Masters will be the DP World Tour’s 22nd event held at The Belfry. The first tournament played at the Sutton Coldfield venue was the Lada English Golf Classic, won by the late, great Seve Ballesteros.

The Tour made a return to The Belfry after a 13-year absence in 2020, with the venue hosting a tournament each year since.
