In the latest in the All To Play For series, Martin Couvra discusses seizing opportunities, the step-up to the DP World Tour from the HotelPlanner Tour, taking inspiration from other French success stories and his hopes for continued success over the rest of the season and beyond.
A rookie campaign on the DP World Tour can be a daunting prospect but Martin Couvra has taken it in his stride, establishing himself as one of European golf’s rising stars.
A proven winner at amateur level, including at the Challenge de España on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2023, the Frenchman joined the paid ranks a week later and has not looked back.
Since graduating through the HotelPlanner Tour’s Road to Mallorca last season, Couvra has been a standout performer with a series of highlights in a breakout campaign.
With three top tens in his first five starts on the 2025 Race to Dubai, he laid the platform for the success that has since followed, most notably his maiden DP World Tour title at the Turkish Airlines Open in May.
More impressive performances have since followed, including a runner-up finish at the Italian Open and Rolex Series and Major Championship debuts.
But with the DP World Tour now firmly into the Back 9 phase of the schedule, featuring increased prize money and Race to Dubai points, there is plenty still at stake with a dual membership card on the PGA TOUR on offer.
