The DP World Tour heads back west this week to start the European Swing with our first trip to Türkiye in six years at the Turkish Airlines Open.

The fourth of five Global Swings in Phase One of the Race to Dubai, the European Swing will see its winner earn a place in all events in Phase Two - the Back 9 - and a $US200,000 bonus.

All Race to Dubai points earned across the Turkish Airlines Open, Soudal Open, Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand, KLM Open, Italian Open and BMW Open will count towards the Swing Rankings, with a place at the Genesis Scottish Open alsdo available to the highest-ranked player not already exempt.

European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald is playing at Regnum Carya as he casts an eye over some of his hopefuls, with a host of established stars among HotelPlanner Tour and Qualifying School graduates looking to make an impression.

Turkish Airlines Open: Five things to know

From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.

Who are the most backed players?

Two-time DP World Tour winner Jordan Smith - spotlighted in our 'ones to watch' during the European Swing is a clear favourite among our Fantasy users this week, featuring in 52% of teams.

Jacques Kruyswijk, who won his maiden DP World Tour title earlier this season in Kenya, sits second for popularity at 35%, just ahead of Adrien Saddier, who has top-five finishes in his last two starts.

Sam Bairstow and Haotong Li - another winner this season - are fourth and fifth, featuring in 29% and 27% respectively.

Who are our ones to watch?

Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.

Favourite - Haotong Li

Such has been his form so far this season, the Chinese is regularly featuring among the favourites and this week is no exception. In a career that has often been a case study in feast or famine, Li is dining out in 2025, sitting eighth on the Race to Dubai Rankings after claiming a fourth DP World Tour win in Qatar and making all of his nine cuts. He has two top tens in his last three starts - including one as the headline act on home soil at the Volvo China Open - and perhaps crucially finished second in two of our previous three visits to Regbum Carya in 2016 and 2018, when he lost in a play-off.

Form Horse - Edoardo Molinari

The Ryder Cup vice captain may have had a delayed start to his campaign due to the recurrence of a wrist injury but he is certainly making up for lost time. After losing his card last season, he won the Qualifying School to gain an instant return but did not then tee it up until the Sinagapore Classic where he finished in a tie for 43rd. A top ten at the Hero Indian Open followed and he registered another at the Hainan Classic either side of a tie for 36th in Shanghai. After starting the season behind the eight ball, he is already up to 82nd on the Race to Dubai and momentum is with him in Antalya.

Wild Card - Matthias Schwab

From a man who lost his card last season one who just kept hold of his. It is safe to say that the 2025 season is not going as Matthias Schwab would have liked, with just two made cuts from 11 starts, but one of those came last time out and would have been far better than a tie for 71st but for one poor round. This is also a man with 18 top tens and two runner-up finishes on the DP World Tour, one of which came at the last edition of this event at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal when he and Tyrell Hatton were the last men standing on the fourth hole of a six-man play-off. They say form is temporary and class is permanent, it's time for Schwab to once again prove his undoubted class.

Looking back - Hainan Classic

Marco Penge's victory was not expected by most of our players but you certainly would not call him a rank outsider after featuring in 4.77% of teams, winning 228 points for the 1,495 that backed him, with 41 making him their captain.

Our Favourite Haotong Li finished in a tie for 51st after disappointing second and third rounds, one shot better than Wild Card Ricardo Gouveia, while Form Horse Eugenio Chacarra was in a tie for 11th.
