Everything you need to know from the second round at Regnum Carya.
Martin Couvra led the way, Wilco Nienaber was in pursuit and Chris Wood holed a spectacular approach.
Here is everything you need to know from round two in Türkiye.
Couvra on course for maiden victory
France's Couvra will take a two-shot lead into the weekend as he looks to win his first DP World Tour title. The 22-year-old rookie started the day in a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard but pulled clear of the chasing pack courtesy of a five-under 66. “I'm really happy about my game today – it's always good to have a bogey-free round,” said Couvra, who recorded a hat-trick of birdies from the seventh, with the highlight a tap-in at the ninth after a stunning approach. “I just try to keep the same mindset on the golf course. My iron game was pretty good today and I made some putts at good moments."
Nienaber and Li in pursuit
Nienaber and Li Haotong posted joint-best rounds of the day as their matching 65s left them on nine and eight under respectively. "It wasn’t flawless, but it was pretty good," Nienaber said. "I don’t think there’s a golf course where length doesn’t help, when it goes straight as well. I did some work with Ping with my driver, I got a totally different driver and it’s obviously doing the job. Thoughts are not much different (going into the weekend). Just do the same things, be patient. I’m sure I’ll be pretty close if I do that." Li added: "I think I just played as solid as yesterday but holed a lot of putts compared to yesterday. The greens were rolling super pure this morning compared to yesterday afternoon, so creating a lot of chances. Yeah, very pleased."
Wood you believe it
Former Ryder Cup star Chris Wood impressed on his second start of the season with a 67 and four under halfway total, with this approach to the tenth the highlight.
Bad chip, great putt
Tiger Christensen wasn't happy with his third to the par-five third as his ball came up 36 feet short. The German's frustrations didn't last long, however...
Tiger Christensen hated the chip...
