Forrest flies flag high for Scotland
The home favourite extended his overnight lead from one to three, but it was not without patience. Forrest parred his first seven holes before two bogeys in his next three saw him slip behind playing partner Jordan Smith. He continued to grind it out and was rewarded with three birdies in his final five holes to be the first player to reach eight under, three clear of the chasing pack. "Well there is a long way to go tomorrow," Forrest said. "Really happy with the way I dug in today and a lovely way to finish. It took a lot of patience, but yeah, see what tomorrow brings. I'm pretty happy with my gameplan so far, I've not checked what the weather's to be, but if it's similar conditions, it's hit fairways and greens - that old chestnut. I've done that pretty well so far and staying patient."
Olesen finds big bird
Jacob Skov Olesen burst into contention when he holed out his second shot for an eagle at the 15th. The Dane was four over through his first four holes on Saturday, but bounced back with four birdies before this brilliant hole-out to close with a 70 at three under. He is five adrift of leader Forrest in a share of fifth.
Lindell produces brilliant par save
Oliver Lindell was hoping to get off to a fast start, but the Finn had to play three off the opening tee after needing a drop. That is not ideal on the 536-yard par five, however, he managed to save par by chipping in with his fifth shot. Fantastic stuff.
Huizing's howitzer
Daan Huizing found himself in the deep stuff down the left at the 17th. But there was nothing to worry about after a magnificent second into the green to set up birdie. That must be a contender for shot of the tournament!

Reitan in contention
Kristoffer Reitan produced the lowest round of Moving Day with a brilliant 68 to climb into a share of second at five under. The Norwegian, who bogeyed the first for the third successive round, mixed six birdies and two dropped shots to continue his stellar campaign on the DP World Tour, where he currently sits fifth on the Race to Dubai Rankings. "It's not necessarily been perfect, I've just navigated my way around and today I hit some better approach shots, which helps a lot," Reitan said. "Happy with the round overall. With the heaviness of the wind, I played the Scottish (Open) and The Open but this is a different type of wind, it's just so much stronger and takes some getting used to, but I feel like I managed it nicely today."
