Everything you need to know from the second round at Furesø Golf Klub.
Rasmus rockets to summit
Rasmus Højgaard enjoyed a sensational run of scoring around the turn to set a daunting clubhouse target of 12 under, a total only overnight leader Marco Penge got close to as he sits two shots behind the Dane. The 24-year-old was patient after opening with six straight pars, but a birdie at the 16th kickstarted a spell of eight under through a nine-hole stretch. An eagle followed at the 18th, four successive birdies from the first continued the streak before adding another at the sixth to climb to 13 under. Only a bogey at the eighth blotted his copybook as he matched Penge's course record, set on Thursday, of 64. "Towards the end of the first nine I made a birdie and an eagle and that sort of somewhat got the round going. After that I made quite a few birdies," Højgaard said. "I didn’t try to do too much out there. I was just striking the ball well, had an idea of where it was going and set up a lot of chances."

De Leo has ace up his sleeve
We celebrated our first hole-in-one of the week thanks to Gregorio De Leo's effort at the fifth. The 25-year-old Italian hit the perfect shot, the 15th ace of the 2025 DP World Tour campaign, with a seven iron from 181 yards on his way to a two-under-par 69 to reach five under for his opening 36 holes.
Bjørn delights home fans
With 15 DP World Tour titles to his name, Thomas Bjørn will have seen it all throughout his illustrious career. However, the 54-year-old will have certainly enjoyed the bumper crowd on home soil as battled to make the cut at Furesø Golf Klub. A hat-trick of birdies from the fifth aided his cause, and he was desperately unlucky not to chip in for eagle in the middle of that run at the sixth. Unfortunately, the former European Team Ryder Cup Captain did not make the weekend as he finished at one over, agonisingly two strokes below the cutline.
Although we won't be seeing Bjørn on the course this weekend, he was at his vintage best around the greens on Friday.

Olesen sparkles for Copenhagen crowd
Thorbjørn Olesen hit an absolute beauty into the 16th green to climb up to four under for the tournament, which delighted the home support.
Penge harbours Ryder Cup hopes
Marco Penge has been in brilliant form in Denmark to improve his outside chances of gatecrashing Luke Donald's European Ryder Cup Team. The Englishman set a course record of 64 at Furesø Golf Klub on Thursday and sits two shots behind Højgaard at the halfway stage. Since his maiden victory at the Hainan Classic in April, he has recorded six top 30 finishes in his last seven starts to climb up to fifth on the Race to Dubai Rankings. It is a tough ask to get into the 12-man squad but with two more events to push his claim, Penge will be doing all he can, "I’ve got my own goals to do with that (the Ryder Cup)," he said. "I get that I need to really show what I can do in these last couple of events. I feel like I’ve done that over the last four to five weeks. The guys that I’m going up against to try and get picked in front of are top quality players and guys I really idolise. Just to be in the picture really means a lot to me. I’ll be trying to ruffle as many feathers as I can."
