It's that time of the season again, where those whose campaigns may not have gone quite as they would have liked are fighting to keep their playing privileges.
While some may be battling for the Harry Vardon Trophy or a place in the DP World Tour Play-Offs, others are fighting for a job next season in a potentially career-defining week at the Genesis Championship.
In 2024, Marco Penge needed a birdie on the last to make the cut and keep his hopes alive - he made it, kept his card and he is now a three-time DP World Tour winner, set for dual membership with the PGA TOUR and right in the mix to be crowned Europe's Number One.
The top 115 on the DP World Tour Rankings at the end of the week will secure category 10 status for 2026 and the ability that brings to build a schedule with entry into almost all DP World Tour events.
Here, we take a look at some of the players ranked 115th and beyond who have a tense week ahead of them at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club.
115 - Adam Scott
A name you may not have expected to see on this list but a man whose fate is entirely in his own hands, the Australian is the player they are all trying to catch.
He needs little introduction as a Masters champion, former World Number One and 11-time DP World Tour winner but it is potentially being under-raced that has hindered his efforts this season.
He has missed just two cuts in his seven starts but they were at the Masters and Open where big points were on offer and a man who finished in the top ten on the Race to Dubai last season is now looking over his shoulder.
116 - Yannik Paul
A winner in his maiden DP World Tour season at the Mallorca Golf Open, Paul took to Tour life quickly and made it look easy, comfortably qualifying for the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in 2022, 23 and 24.
It is against that backdrop that 2025 appears so stark, with the German missing six of his first seven cuts before a third-place finish at the Volvo China Open catapulted him up the Rankings.
He enjoyed a reasonably consistent summer but another run of six missed cuts in seven halted his progress, although he arrives in Cheonan having made back-to-back weekends for the first time since July.
117 - Aaron Cockerill
A 2019 Qualifying School graduate, the Canadian has had to work hard to truly establish himself on Tour and he will not want to give up his status without a fight.
After struggling in his Covid-affected maiden season and the following year, he has improved his finish on the Race to Dubai Rankings every season since, cracking the top 50 for a first DP World Tour Championship appearance in 2024.
This campaign has been a struggle, however, with Cockerill riding the bubble all year with a single top ten and he will need at least a made cut to have a chance of maintaining his status.
118 - Fabrizio Zanotti
Since graduating from the HotelPlanner Tour in 2007, the Paraguayan has lost his status on just two occasions, going on to regain it at the Qualifying School at the first time of asking both times.
With 18 consecutive seasons on Tour, 415 appearances and two wins under his belt, the 42-year-old will certainly not be overawed by the occasion and his performances so far this term suggest he can give himself a chance over the weekend.
He made his first 12 cuts of the season and has missed just five all in all but has failed to deliver that big performance - could it arrive just in time in Korea?
*The players ranked 119-126 are either otherwise exempt for 2026 or not in the field for the Genesis Championship.
127 - Jordan Gumberg
If Gumberg fails in his quest to retain his card this season, it most certainly won't be for a lack of trying.
Since the season started in Australia back in November, the American has missed just one event where he could have played, teeing it up every week possible in the calendar year of 2025.
This year's DP World Tour iron man makes a 34th start of the season this week and while he made the cut in India, he had made just one other weekend in his previous 12 and will be looking for a big upturn in form.
128 - Robin Williams
The man who lost to Gumberg in a play-off at the 2024 SDC Championship is the player closest to him in the Rankings.
Such was his success in 2024, he earned a category 10 exemption through the non-members list which eclipsed the category 15 status he had for finishing in the top 20 on the Road to Mallorca.
That has allowed him to play a packed schedule but across 31 events so far he has a single top ten with more missed cuts than made.
129 - Thomas Detry
Another name who is perhaps a surprise to be on this list but much like Scott, his appearances have been limited across the season.
A winner on the HotelPlanner Tour and a five-time DP World Tour runner-up, it has long been a question of if, not when, he gets over the line and while he is still waiting for a DP World Tour victory, he claimed the WM Phoenix Open earlier this year on the PGA TOUR.
And while he has made every DP World Tour cut this year outside of the Majors, a best result of tied 12th at the Amgen irish Open has left him fighting for his status.
